Eye Candy Friday

I'm not sure what this lily-type flower is called but on the east side of my house it has naturalized enough to completely blanket the walkway between our house and our neighbors. Perhaps I should have a bulb giveaway. Seems like we've got plenty to spare.

Here's Flynno at the M's game on Wednesday. He clearly won't sit still for the camera. These were taken in rapid succession. Back... and forth... back... and forth...

Oh look, it's Lynda and Dave.

And Nay Nay and J-Dog.
(Yep, Rach and I have our knitting.)

Bye, bye Marek.

Marek (in the middle) was our good friends' Chris and Rachel's exchange student. He has a few more days here in the USA (he's on his way to Disneyland with his mom) and then he's on his way back to Slovakia to his friends, family and his beloved "chopper" (aka motorcycle.) We have been acting as the coordinator family for the exchange. The game was Flynn's last outing with Marek. I think he's a little sad to see his little buddy leave.

Ready for the weekend? Ours will involve mud, tape and paint. We just can't seem to stop ripping our house apart... Cheers!

Gorgeous flowers! I've got some pink lilies that should be blooming any day now :) Looks like you had a great time at the game! Hope your weekend ripping the house apart went well :)

Those are a Daylily, but I don't know what exact type.

In NY I was told that daylilies are invasive weeds but I refuse to believe it as they are so beautiful!

It was good to hang out with you last night.
